Alan Šustić

Alan Šustić, MD PhD, is a specialist in anesthesiology, emergency and intensive care medicine, and he is a member of numerous European and world societies and associations in the field of emergency and intensive care medicine. He is the Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, Reanimatology, Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka, Croatia, also he is a former Dean of Faculty of Medicine and he is a current Dean of Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka, Croatia. A special field of his scientific interest is the application of ultrasound in emergency and intensive care medicine.

Giustino Varrassi

Professor Giustino Varrassi, MD, is Specialist in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and former Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, University of L'Aquila, Italy. At the moment, he is president of the Paolo Procacci Foundation via Tacito 7, 00193 Roma, Italy. His interest in Pain Medicine is shown by the many initiatives he has organized in his career: Founding Member and Past-President of the European Federation of IASP Chapters, where he has served in the Executive Board for 21 years; Past-President of the Italian Association for the Study of Pain, where he has served in the Council for over 30 years. In these positions, he has organized over 40 international and national congresses. Moreover, he has an intense publishing activity on Pain Medicine and other aspects of his medical specialty, with over 200 papers in Scopus.

Marco Cascella

Prof Marco Cascella, MD, is a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori, IRCCS, Fondazione Pascale, Napoli, Italy. He is also Professor of Physiology on the Degree Course in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques at the Faculty of Medicine, University 'Federico II”, Naples, Italy. He is a member of the expert committee in cancer pain and palliative care of the Italian Society of Anesthesiology, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care (SIAARTI). His clinical research interests include General Anesthesia Research, Pain Research, Cancer Pain Management, and Infectious Diseases in ICU.

Al Abd-Elsayed

Prof Al Abd-Elsayed, MD, is a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. He is the First Division Chief, Anesthesiology Department,Chronic Pain Medicine, UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, WI, USA .He acquired many international honors and awards. And he is a member of numerous world medical societies.

Bouarroudj Noreddine

Prof Bouarroudj Noreddine, MD, is a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. He is the Medical Director of Naoufel Clinic. He is the president of Anesthetists and Critical Care Physicians Association. His clinical research interests include: Interventional pain management and Ultrasound Guided Anesthesia.

    IndexCopernicus The Index Copernicus International (ICI) Journals database’s is an international indexation database of scientific journals. It covered international scientific journals which divided into general information, contents of individual issues, detailed bibliography (references) sections for every publication, as well as full texts of publications in the form of attached files (optional). For now, there are more than 58,000 scientific journals registered at ICI.

    Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research The Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (GFMER) is a non-profit organization established in 2002 and it works in close collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The overall objectives of the Foundation are to promote and develop health education and research programs.

    Scopus Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database launched in 2004.     Embase Embase (often styled EMBASE for Excerpta Medica dataBASE), produced by Elsevier, is a biomedical and pharmacological database of published literature designed to support information managers and pharmacovigilance in complying with the regulatory requirements of a licensed drug.
